Challenge
As we transformed every aspect of CA's brand, we turned our attention to the corporate website. Already a highly trafficked destination within the IT community, it also had strong potential to become a showcase for “the new CA.” How, then, could we turn the site into an embodiment of “Unify. Simplify”? How could we make it an ideal customer touchpoint — clearly branded, easy to navigate, and simple to understand?
Solution
Our team immediately focused on three high-impact initiatives: rebranding, improved usability, and traffic redirection. First, we redesigned and reconfigured the site, while overhauling content, to align the site with the new brand and improve clarity and usability. At the same time, we re-architected key sections to align with CA's emerging product strategy, which was to bundle products and services into comprehensive IT management solutions. Our focus was to move the site away from a product-centric model to both reposition CA's offerings and drive traffic to areas of the site that focused on solutions and CA expertise.
Results
In the months following relaunch, CA saw an increase in user traffic in the most desired areas of the site. CA.com also captured top honors from the analyst group siteIQ, which lauded the site’s overall effectiveness and superior usability.
