As this investment bank has steadily expanded its global reach and client services, Sequel Studio has served as a trusted branding and communications advisor, enabling the firm to manage its brand across multiple markets and businesses and articulate its strategy and value proposition to clients and investors. Four editions of the annual report track the progress of a strategy focused squarely on meeting the needs of clients and institutional investors. In 2006, this culminated in "The Real Measure of Success," a book that describes how Merrill measures its own success by that of its clients, whether as the world's leading wealth manager or financial strategist for major corporations.

At the same time, Sequel has led the development of an overall brand architecture and a consistent set of brand identity guidelines for operations worldwide. Sequel has also undertaken a broad range of branding, naming and communications assignments, including identity and guidelines for the firm's philanthropic Merrill Lynch Classroom, branding and communications for their Global Bank Group, and naming, branding and communications for many other financial products and initiatives.
